The Position:
Reporting to the People Operations Manager in our Barcelona office. We are seeking a dynamic, autonomous and talented People Operation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing human resources activities, and ensuring a thrilling labor environment.

Responsibilities

  • HR Processes and Administration:
  • Support the People Operations Manager in the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring the selection of top talent.
  • Administer and enhance HR policies and procedures to align with company goals.
  • Onboarding assistance for new employees, including office tours, equipment, welcome package delivery, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, interact with lawyers and labor agencies to manage contracts and legal matters.
  • Manage employee documentation, maintain accurate records, insert all employee’s data into our HR systems to make sure we comply with all the labor regulations and we successfully pass all audits.
  • Talent Management and Culture:
  • Cultivate and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Contribute in the organization of team-building activities and events to strengthen relationships.
  • Facilitate performance management processes and support professional growth.
  • Organize the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Support with employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must-have
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on culture development.
  • Strong understanding of Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Leadership, initiative, flexibility, and professional commitment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in excel, google suite tools and HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Able to quickly learn new tools and technologies; act with a startup mindset: have urgency, grit, be adaptable to change, and be a team player.
