Position Summary

This is a full-time remote role for a Customer Success Manager. The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for managing customer accounts, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer adoption, retention, and expansion. The Customer Success Manager will also be responsible for analyzing customer data to provide insights to customers and creating strategies to improve customer satisfaction.

You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of AttackIQ customers and responsible for connecting them and their needs to the various other teams within AttackIQ as needed. You will work as a team with one or more Customer Success Engineers and in coordination with our sales teams to ensure our customers receive the full value of their purchase in terms of technology and methodology.

This role will report to the Head of Global Customer Success and will be remote with targeted strategic customer visits.

About the Role

We are seeking a Client Success Manager (CSM) with a strong background in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Security Control Validation

  • Detection Engineering / SOC Validation

  • Red Teaming / Adversary Emulation

  • Continuous Security Validation

  • Incident Response & Process Validation

  • Security Posture Measurement / Exposure Management

  • Risk & Compliance Reporting

  • Third-Party / Supply Chain Security

As a Client Success Manager, you will serve as the trusted advisor and advocate for our customers, ensuring their success through adoption, value realization, and continuous engagement. You will be responsible for managing relationships across an assigned portfolio of clients, driving measurable business outcomes, and helping customers mature their cybersecurity validation programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the post-sales relationship for assigned customers, ensuring successful onboarding, adoption, and value realization.

  • Serve as the primary customer contact, providing guidance, strategy, and best practices to maximize platform impact.

  • Partner with technical and operational teams to translate customer goals into measurable outcomes.

  • Proactively identify risks to customer success and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Product, Sales, and Engineering—to champion customer needs and feedback.

  • Lead customer business reviews, demonstrating ROI and strategic alignment.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s cybersecurity objectives, operational workflows, and maturity level.

  • Drive renewals and expansion opportunities by ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Security Control Validation

    • Detection Engineering / SOC Operations

    • Red Teaming or Adversary Emulation

    • Continuous Security Validation

    • Incident Response or Security Process Validation

    • Security Posture or Exposure Management

    • Risk and Compliance or Supply Chain Security

  • Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and validation processes.

  • Proven track record in customer-facing roles—such as Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Consulting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for executive audiences.

  • High level of empathy and genuine passion for helping customers succeed.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and cross-functional relationships.


Preferred

  • Experience with security validation platforms, breach and attack simulation, or security testing automation.

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

  • Background in SaaS or cybersecurity vendor environments.
