Content Marketing Manager

Location: Remote, United States

You would be writing for the people securing users, devices, workloads and AI agents. CISOs and security architects deciding who and what should be able to communicate. Clinical engineering leads who cannot take an infusion pump offline. Plant IT managers who measure downtime in dollars per minute. Infrastructure teams securing workloads and AI agents as their environments change. They read closely. They can spot a vendor who has not done the homework in about two paragraphs.

Elisity delivers identity-based microsegmentation, using identity and risk context for users, devices, workloads and AI agents to enforce least-privilege access through supported infrastructure. That helps organizations contain lateral movement without re-architecting their networks.

You would be our content function. You own the editorial calendar, blog, email, social and the writing behind announcements, with quarterly themes that hold it together. You own website copy, sales presentations and YouTube, including how we explain identity-based microsegmentation and Zero Trust to each audience. As the product moves, you keep that language and those assets current.

There are 102 published assets today. Most deserve a second and third life they are not getting. We want someone who builds a production system with AI inside it, so the calendar ships every week and the library keeps earning, rather than someone who writes faster until they burn out.

We care more about range and judgment than years of experience. If you can do most of this well and are the kind of person who figures out the rest, apply.

You are the content team. You get a freelance budget, a channel partner program to support, subject matter experts who will actually talk to you, and a lot of latitude.

What You Will Own

• The editorial calendar. Quarterly content themes tied to campaign and product priorities, then the weekly execution against them: blog, email, organic social, and the writing behind PR and announcements. You set the cadence and you hold it.
• Website content and messaging. Product and solution pages, vertical landing pages, and how we explain identity, least-privilege access and microsegmentation to each audience. You partner with product marketing on positioning and you write the version that ships.
• Social and YouTube. Running our social channels as channels, not as a dumping ground for blog links. Owning the YouTube channel end to end: what gets made, how it is packaged, and whether anyone watches it.
• Sales presentations. The decks the team actually presents with, kept current, on-message, and built for the room they are used in.
• Pipeline content. Assets built for named account plays, nurture tracks, paid, and sales development sequences, measured on sourced and influenced pipeline rather than publication count.
• The AI content infrastructure. Brand voice files, persona and ICP definitions, prompt libraries, and the quality gates that keep output on voice. Documented well enough that a freelancer or a product marketer can use it without you in the room.
• Data-led decisions. Reading Profound, Google Search Console and Google Analytics to work out what is landing, what is not, and what to make next, then changing the plan when the data says so.
• Repurposing at scale. One customer story becomes a vertical solution brief, three blog posts, a one-pager for sales, a nurture sequence, a short video and eight social posts. This is how the calendar gets fed.
• Channel partner content. Co-brandable enablement and campaign material for resellers, VARs, distributors and systems integrators: the assets a partner uses to sell Elisity into their own accounts.
• Answer engine visibility. Getting Elisity cited when a security leader asks ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity how to control access across users, devices, workloads and AI agents, and tracking whether that is working.
• Voice and claim accuracy. You set the standard for what sounds like Elisity. You work with product marketing and subject matter experts to ground claims in supported capabilities and customer evidence, and to explain the roadmap accurately.

What Success Looks Like

The first six months, as we would measure them.

• 30 days: Editorial calendar published through the next quarter, with themes agreed. Content audit complete: what is current, what has drifted, what is dead. Voice files and persona docs updated. Baseline pulled from Search Console, Analytics and Profound.
• 90 days: Calendar shipping on cadence across blog, email and social. Documented AI production workflow running. Sales deck refreshed. First data-led change to the plan made and explained.
• 180 days: Content-sourced pipeline reported with a target. Two verticals have a full-funnel content set. Priority website pages rewritten. YouTube running to a schedule. Freelance bench producing on your system.

What We Are Looking For

We are flexible on years. If you can do most of the list below well, and you are the kind of person who learns the rest fast, we want to talk.

• Experience in B2B content marketing, ideally cybersecurity, infrastructure or another technically demanding category. Roughly 3 to 6 years is the shape we expect, but we will happily read a shorter history with stronger work behind it.
• Has personally owned an editorial calendar across blog, email and social, and held it, including the unglamorous weeks.
• Writes website copy as comfortably as blog posts, and can work with product marketing on messaging without waiting to be handed a brief.
• Hands-on production experience with Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent, specifically building repeatable workflows rather than one-off prompting. Show us a system you built.
• Comfortable in the numbers: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and AI-visibility tools such as Profound. You should be able to look at performance data and change the plan, not just report it.
• Working knowledge of search and answer engine optimization: schema and structured data, and how AI answer engines pick what to cite.
• Evidence you can explain identity-based microsegmentation, least-privilege access and AI agent security to CISOs, infrastructure teams and clinical or industrial specialists.
• Comfortable being the whole content function: prioritizing solo and directing freelancers and subject matter experts.
• A portfolio showing the same source material adapted for different audiences and formats.

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise network security, workload security or AI agent security. Healthcare, medical device, OT or industrial security experience is also useful.
• Video: scripting, editing, and templates, optimizations and general maintenance for YouTube.
• Building sales decks that a rep will actually present rather than rebuild.
• Channel marketing experience: content a reseller or systems integrator will put their logo on.
• HubSpot, Salesforce, and web CMS fluency.
• Press or analyst relations exposure.
• You already use AI tools daily and have opinions about which ones are overrated.
