As a market leader in AI Compute, Qualcomm is driving the AI PC transformation with the new Snapdragon X Elite SoC, that is exclusive to Windows CoPilot+ PCs. The Snapdragon Compute platform includes cutting edge IP cores delivering industry best-in-class CPU, Video Codecs, GPU, and NPU that enable innovative AI experiences. Optimizing neural networks and GenAI models on the 45 TOPs NPU accelerates processing by over 10x performance at a fraction of the power.

This leadership role will direct a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the professional video, media/entertainment, and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) experiences leveraging the market leading 45 TOPs NPU to accelerate AI models for computer vision, generative AI, and LLMs on the edge. This involves collaborating with executives across top app developers to define breakthrough experiences, guide technical teams through the execution, and establish a GTM plan for product launch. This role involves distilling video/audio technical partner requirements to optimize platform features and performance. The innovative solutions will be part of Qualcomm CEO and executive keynotes as well as Microsoft and OEM partner showcases.

The Product Manager functions as a central resource across Engineering, Technical Program Managers and Marketing to drive the execution of the strategy from product conception and definition through launch. This includes conducting market research to identify trends and prioritize AI technology features across the Snapdragon AI software roadmap.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for defining breakthrough Video, Media Entertainment, and Digital Audio Workstation experiences and guiding technical teams during execution through product launch
  • Define innovative compute application experiences, incubate executive engagement with market leading partners to establish a roadmap to launch.
  • Be the subject matter expert in video codecs to drive a roadmap for media SDKs
  • Research consumer application segments for optimizing solutions across video editing, professional media, and audio interfaces to define a product roadmap of experiences.
  • Translates customer feedback into product roadmap priorities across technology software roadmaps spanning AI, Video, Audio.
  • Direct team cross-org collaboration to establish priority of open-source AI models spanning LLMs, LVMs, computer vision models.
  • Partner with Engineering and Technology Program Managers to prioritize and execute on the software strategy and roadmap.
  • Scale app developer engagements via webinars, campaign outreach, and drive dashboards of the developer journey
  • Markets new and complex products and technologies through technical marketing opportunities such as conferences, industry events, and drives product launch efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years Product Management or related work experience.
  • Experience with Video technology and frameworks including codecs, media libraries, and competitive bit rates.
  • Broad understanding of AI technology including PyTorch, ONNX, DirectML.
  • Expert in collaborating with external partners to define roadmaps and execution through launch.
  • Background in bringing SW products and solutions to market.
  • Strong leadership skills, and a self-starter who possesses a sense of ownership around delivering on team goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$179,200.00 - $268,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
