General Summary:
Job Overview
Qualcomm is a pioneering designer and developer of silicon and software for the consumer electronics market and a global leader in wireless technology. We are looking for passionate and talented engineers for developing software for our range of Bluetooth Audio SoCs. This will involve design, development and testing of C code within a resource constrained multi-processor environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform requirements capture and technical feasibility
- Detailed design of complex areas including enhancing and adapting existing design to suit product requirements
- Development, maintenance and testing of on-chip embedded software including defect investigation and fixing
- Contribute towards continuous development of processes and best practices followed in the team
- Liaison with customers and participate in external inter-operability events
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-4 years of relevant industry work experience
- Good C programming skills with relevant experience in writing C code.
- Inclination towards working in Embedded software
- Good trouble shooting and analytical skills that can be applied to resolve software issues.
- Communication skills with ability documentation detailing of features and collaborate well with teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience / Understanding of Bluetooth profiles (A2DP,AVRCP,HFP and other BLE profiles. )
- Hands-on experience with Embedded systems
- Understanding of basic Audio handling mechanisms in embedded environment
- Knowledge on peripheral communication protocols as I2C, I2S and USB
- Usage of protocol analysers and packet sniffers
- Knowledge on debugging system issues and memory issues
