The successful candidate will be an energetic, motivated and proven business development leader who will drive continued success for the rapidly growing Compute Business Unit, Provide overall leadership for business development, strategy, planning and execution for the largest and most strategic customers in Taiwan/APAC, including OEMs.

Responsible for promoting the entirety of Qualcomm’s compute product portfolio, driving sales and business development activities to consistently exceed design win (revenue) targets, and for helping to manage ongoing successful execution of existing programs in target accounts.

· Understanding the customers’ businesses, strategies and objectives and facilitating business deals ensuring alignment with Qualcomm’s business objectives and requirements.

· He/she would assist in building credibility with industry partners by articulating Qualcomm’s value proposition and positioning Qualcomm as the provider of choice in the compute space.

· Have in-depth expertise and robust experience in building business cases for previously unidentified business opportunities and influencing strategic business partners to define and deploy technology-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall customer, including developing and managing relationships across the technical and commercial groups, from working level to leadership
  • Maintain a deep and dynamic understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives, strategies, and capabilities, and ensure ongoing alignment with Qualcomm Compute business objectives
  • Drive design wins for Compute product lines and offerings at assigned accounts, including negotiation of pricing and commercial terms
  • Incubate new business and revenue opportunities in conjunction with Compute BU, including generating business cases and proposals for account-specific collaborations and investments
  • Work closely with broader Qualcomm support organization (Legal, Contracts, Sales Operations, Customer Service, etc.), to support all aspects of the customer business cycle: NDAs, License agreements, Salesforce, Development tools, Customer support and issue resolution, Forecasting, Pricing strategy, Customer service, Production and EOL management
  • Maintain sales pipeline, provide monthly forecasts, and support quarterly and annual account reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of demonstrated success in Business Development, Sales, Product Management or related work experience.
  • 15+ years of experience within the Compute industry, preferably with direct experience on Laptop/PC products (x86, ARM)
  • Customer engagement at OEM and Tier-1s at senior leadership level including product conceptualization, commercial and long-term partnership experience
  • Experience in semiconductor industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to teamwork with stakeholders to consolidate the feature scope and strong communication skills with cross teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in competition & component analysis, build AVL for Laptop related product
  • Experience in 3rd party component engagement or companion/peripheral component integration on system design.
  • Experience with Qualcomm platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in Mobile, Gaming, or XR related product is a plus
  • Experience in program management role is a plus

Required Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
