General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a Manager, HR Shared Services to be part of the People Solutions organization that provides HR services and Solutions to employees globally. This management role will deliver high quality HR services to both employees and members of the HR Team while also maximizing the ability of the overall HR function to contribute strategically to Qualcomm.
The role will manage a group of HR Advisors based globally (North America, India, EMEA, APAC).
The role will report to the People solutions Senior Director.
This role would require flexibility to work across time zone to engage with global team members, collaborate and engage with various HR teams and other functional teams
This position requires prior experience in managing a contact centre or HR operations team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

People Management and leadership:
Manage a global roll up org of 30+ people with 3 direct reports
Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Shared Services professionals.
Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-centric team culture.
Build and sustain a culture that is conducive to the team in delivering quality service, CI mindset and promotes individual development
Manage team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure effective resource allocation and staffing planning.
Coach, mentor next level and team members as needed to scale and build a pool of talent as potential successors or supervisors
Ensure a one team mindset while working with teams across geographies.
Ensure a culture of being inclusive. Drive engagement to create a global team and embrace a global culture

Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement HR Shared Services strategies and procedures that align with the overall business objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in HR Shared Services.
Ensure optimization of the HR Shared Service organization to ensure efficient delivery across locations and time zones

Service Delivery:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services function, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Manage and resolve escalated HR issues and inquiries.
Set benchmarks for teams performance
Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor and report on HR Shared Services performance metrics.

Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR business partners, other functional HR teams and upstream/downstream teams such as payroll,
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.

Continuous Improvement and process Optimization:
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Shared Services function.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in HR Shared Services.
Explore opportunities to bring in automation, AI and relevant tools to drive efficiency and employee experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
10+ years of experience in multiple areas: talent development, organizational development, performance management.
5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
3+ years in a managerial role with direct reports

- Technical Knowledge - Knowledge of Qualcomm or industry standard HR policies, guidelines, and procedures and expertise of HR specialty areas (e.g., Benefits) to design and implement HR programs and solutions. This includes knowledge of the business, industry, and state and federal law to enable HR programs that add business value.
