General Summary:

The Snapdragon X Series is Qualcomm’s next-generation platform for Windows laptops, delivering high performance, long battery life, and advanced on-device AI. As a Compute Communications/PR Senior Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our Compute comms strategy and PR across EMEA. You will play a key role in shaping the narrative around innovation, performance and purpose across earned, owned and executive comms requiring a mix of strategic story-telling, media relations and partner communications across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Local, Regional & HQ Collaboration

  • Developing and executing EMEA compute strategic PR programme across our key markets across the region
  • Liaison with, management of and responsibility for, our pan-EU networked PR agency with responsibility for the compute business
  • Maintaining and further development of media relationships across the region
  • Development and management of targeted PC reviews programme focusing on key Snapdragon compute product portfolio
  • Liaison and management of media and influencer relationships
  • Working closely with country, regional and global communications, product management and sales stakeholders to develop plans that are locally focussed and globally aligned
  • Working closely with channel and OEM partners in region to manage communications activities
  • PR Event preparation and execution: presentations, briefing books, messaging, logistics
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with global marketing, PR, digital, social, training, and brand teams to support communication strategies.
  • Deliver monthly communications reports with insights, performance, and upcoming initiatives.
  • PR administrative responsibilities: FCPA system, iProc, SoV monitoring and reporting

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years leading technology communication in roles within tech, consumer electronics, or PC channels – either in agency or in-house
  • Experience in semiconductor, communications, or technology sectors preferred, with proven track record of running programmes across multiple countries in Europe
  • Proven ability to manage key media and influencer relationships
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven comms leader, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Strong project management and budget handling capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
