General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.
Main Responsibilities
ADAS system performance evaluation and optimization, AI model deployment and integration, optimizing the pipeline performance including sensor pre-processing and post-processing, AI model quantization and accuracy debugging/tuning.
Skills / Experience Required
1. Good knowledge for software development and debug.
2. C++/Python/Java programming experience.
3. Be familiar with Linux/QNX OS and performance analysis.
4. Be familiar with major ADAS SoC chipset architecture and subsystem modules.
5. Be familiar with Camera ISP and pipeline design/performance evaluation.
6. Be familiar with OpenCL/OpenGL/Vulkan GPU programming framework.
7. Has ADAS AI model deployment, quantization and accuracy tuning experience.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education Requirements
BS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronic, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, MS preferred.
