General Summary:
Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV) is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the product engineering and management of our 3GPP modem portfolio for government and defense applications. This role is pivotal in shaping our product and technology strategy - from concept and definition through delivery and end-of-life - ensuring alignment across our commercial and consumer roadmaps as well as mission-critical government applications.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the development of modem product and technology strategies for government and defense applications by aligning Qualcomm’s product and technology roadmaps with mission-specific needs
· Deliver high-impact, technically complex presentations to customers that articulate product roadmaps and capabilities; and incorporate customer feedback and requirements into QGOV product planning
· Define and manage requirements and interdependencies across all modem products and technology areas for government use cases; drive execution across Engineering, Product Management (PM), Product Development Management (PdM), and Business Development (BD) teams
· Collaborate with stakeholders and program sponsors to establish product goals (e.g., performance, cost, timeline, customer schedules), assess feasibility, and guide cross-functional decision-making
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$248,000.00 - $372,000.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
