General Summary:

Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate test programs for RFFE RX modules on ATE platforms.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and hardware teams to define test requirements and ensure test coverage for new product introductions (NPI) & high-volume production (HVM).
  • Lead test bring-up activities, including hardware debug, correlation, and characterization from initiation to product release.
  • Drive test time reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization initiatives in production.
  • Provide technical support for production sites and interface with OSAT partners for test transfer and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze test data to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support test hardware development including load boards, probe cards, and interface hardware.
  • Document test plans, procedures, and validation reports to ensure compliance with internal quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in RF test engineering, with at least 3 years on ATE platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, RX signal chains, and mixed-signal test methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test program development, silicon debug, and production ramp-up.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or LabVIEW for test automation.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and reliability testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Qualcomm RFFE modules or similar RF front-end components.
  • Knowledge of test data management systems and yield analysis tools.
  • Exposure to global manufacturing environments and cross-site collaboration.
