General Summary:

The Brand Specialist, Staff plays a pivotal role in supporting and advancing the Qualcomm Global Brand Team’s initiatives. This role ensures seamless execution of brand programs while contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration. The Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to uphold brand integrity and drive impactful marketing efforts for Snapdragon consumer-first processor brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Governance & Quality Control
    Ensure consistent brand application across creative assets and platforms. Conduct brand reviews and provide feedback to internal and external teams.
  • Project Oversight & Coordination
    Lead medium-scale brand projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Support the Brand Manager and Sr. Brand Manager in high-impact initiatives.
  • Strategic Research & Insights
    Conduct market and competitive research to inform brand positioning and messaging. Assist in brand audits and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Content Development & Communication
    Draft and edit brand communications including newsletters, training materials, and internal updates. Collaborate with content creators to ensure brand alignment.
  • Digital Asset & Portal Management
    Maintain and optimize the Brand Portal. Oversee digital asset organization, tagging, and accessibility for global teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Liaise with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    Track brand performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership. Identify trends and opportunities for brand growth.
  • Mentorship & Team Support
    Provide guidance to Brand Coordinators and assist in onboarding new team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Marketing Communications, Brand Marketing or related work experience.
  • 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • Prior experience providing marketing or brand support in equivalent industry
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
  • Strong understanding in brand building, management and governance
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication along with active listening and collaboration abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proficient with Workfront or similar project management tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
