General Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr/Staff Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities across key corporate functions including Real Estate & Facilities, Human Resources, Professional Services, Logistics, and Marketing. This role will be instrumental in driving sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to cost optimization through data-driven decision-making and financial due diligence.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 6+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead supplier identification, RFP coordination, and contract support for both services and products.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to gather requirements and align procurement strategies.
Analyze supplier proposals and market data to assess competitiveness, accuracy, and completeness.
Support supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings and mutual business objectives.
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle.
Monitor supplier performance and assist in relationship management activities.
Contribute to process improvement by documenting workflows and recommending efficiencies.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and resolve routine sourcing issues or escalations.
Apply procurement best practices, including category management and supplier engagement strategies.
Assist in developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and other governing agreements in collaboration with the Contracts Team.
Utilize should-cost modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO) frameworks, and financial analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
7–9 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within corporate or operational functions.
Proficiency with procurement systems, spend analytics tools, and contract management platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
Demonstrated interest in sustainability and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Level of Responsibility:
• Works under some supervision.
• Provides supervision to direct reports.
• Decisions are more significant in their impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives. Errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results. Errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct.
