Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Bluetooth upper and lower stack layers, including ATT/GATT, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP, SMP, and lower layers like LL/LM and Baseband.
• Proficiency in Linux/RTOS development, including IPC, multithreading, and debugging in user space.
• Mentoring experience for new or less experienced engineers.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth sniffer tools, air trace and log analysis, and embedded debuggers.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous assignments.
• Willingness to travel to other Qualcomm locations for knowledge transfer, project cooperation, and interoperability events.
• Understanding of customer/client relationship dynamics.
• Python scripting skills are a bonus.
• Self-motivated, open-minded, adaptable team player comfortable with minimal supervision and accountability for deliverables

Qualifications needed
• Proficient in C programming with experience in writing efficient code for memory-constrained embedded systems.
• Relevant background experience of 3-5 years
• Expertise in Bluetooth specifications for both host and controller.
• Ability to contribute to Bluetooth SIG specification development.
• Experience designing and developing new protocols and profiles aligned with product and BT-SIG roadmaps.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Bluetooth/BLE profiles and protocols.
• Capability to provide work breakdowns, feasibility studies, effort estimates, and risk mitigation for new features.
• Skill in defining clear and useful module interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially related to embedded systems.
• Excellent communication skills for creating detailed design documentation.
• Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
Additional Qualifications for Senior lead Engineer:
• Ability to understand and capture clear product requirements.
• System-level architecture and design for Bluetooth-related features for the core (Host or Controller) and profiles segments of Bluetooth.
• Leadership skills to manage teams interfacing with customers and programs.
• Capability to steer discussions on product KPIs from a Bluetooth perspective.
