General Summary:

The Manager in Gaming Marketing will develop and execute marketing plans based on business objectives and strategies for our gaming related features and products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the China gaming industry and conduct gaming market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Develop gaming marketing strategy and tactics, manage gaming budget under strategy.

- Plan gaming and eSports marketing activities/campaigns (like ChinaJoy, KPL), across various marketing channels and touchpoints to achieve better outcomes.

- Plan and execute the strategic alliance with key partners to raise awareness in China gaming ecosystem.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in the gaming ecosystem, such as Tencent, NetEase, MiHoyo, papergames, Seasun, Epic games and etc., to foster collaboration opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

- Work closely with gaming studios/esports leagues/KOCs/OEMs to support relevant campaigns.

- Monitor and evaluate gaming campaigns, control project budget, and develop wrap-up reports.

- Support procurement, compliance, and legal processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 8~10 years of marketing or related work experience, with gaming and esports experience preferred.

- Proven track record of successful integrated marketing campaigns and strategies.

- Strong Project management skill.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming community.

- Good command of English and ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Desired Skills:

- Creative thinking, can-do spirit, and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience with influencer marketing and community management.

- Knowledge of global gaming markets and cultural nuances.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
