General Summary:
The primary role of the team is to provide support in the definition, review, and optimization of the Qualcomm Voice and Music product HW systems. The engineers on the team contribute to the successful design of new Bluetooth and WiFi Voice and Music products from the concept phase until the release to mass production, and then support the adoption and integration into customer designs through reference designs, documentation, design reviews, debug, and performance optimization work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Presently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher qualification) in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of circuit design, main components and power supply configurations
- Understanding of the basic electrical measurement principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PCB design principles
- Familiarity with circuit or EM simulation tools
- Python scripting skills (basic)
- Database management (basic)
Projects that you may be involved with:
- Product evaluation and performances analysis across a range of designs available on the market (for earbuds and headsets)
- Wireless audio devices power optimization and KPIs verification: test execution, comparison against requirements, review and proposal of options for improvement
- Application circuits and PCB design
- Customer designs review, debug, and improvement recommendation
- Test and data logging automation
