General Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Windows Driver Developer to join our team and contribute to GNSS driver development for Windows-on-Snapdragon platforms. This role requires strong expertise in UMDF-based Windows driver development, along with the ability to leverage Python for data analysis and related use case development.
You’ll work on cutting-edge Windows-on-Snapdragon technology, bridging driver development with AI-driven automation. This is an opportunity to innovate at the intersection of embedded systems and modern AI workflows.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windows OS internals, kernel-level programming, and performance optimization across multiple software layers. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering GNSS drivers for next-generation Windows-on-Snapdragon products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize UMDF-based GNSS drivers for Windows platforms.
- Analyze and improve performance across OS, kernel, compiler, drivers, and hardware layers.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support bring-up, debugging, and issue resolution on Qualcomm chipsets.
- Utilize Python for GNSS KPI analysis and develop data processing use cases.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of GNSS driver features for multiple product lines.
- Perform system-level debugging using tools like WinDbg, JTAG, and profiling utilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in Windows driver development (UMDF).
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging on ARM or SoC-based systems.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS internals, kernel architecture, and device driver frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation.
- Familiarity with LLM-based workflows and ability to integrate Python solutions for AI-driven use cases.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux kernel development.
- Knowledge of processor architecture, cache subsystems, and memory management.
- Exposure to System BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, and embedded OS concepts.
- ARM assembly language familiarity.
- Understanding of performance profiling and optimization techniques.
