Job Overview
We seek a passionate engineer with in-depth knowledge on camera ISP algorithm to join the Camera Systems team.
The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, ISP, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection. Responsibilities include the following:
- Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.
- Design ISP algorithm to achieve best camera image quality.
- Research and development for next generation camera ISP modules and image quality improvement.
- Prototype solutions on mobile platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes.
- Deployment and tuning support of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.
Qualification
- 5+ years working experiences in the following areas:
- Must be experienced with classical image processing algorithms development.
- Camera ISP HW algo development experience would be preference.
- Camera and image processing technologies.
- Expert at HW or SW algorithm for camera image processing.
- Image signal processor pipeline design.
- C, C++, Python, Matlab.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
