General Summary:

Job Duties:

  • Program manager for High school student Developer initiatives and AI programming. This includes managing developer programs, integrating QC technology into High School programs, tracking KPI’s

  • Help develop content and curriculum for a variety of initiatives and programs

  • Deliver Developer training to Educators, students and other stakeholders

  • Help scale developer curriculum and initiatives across local, national and international partners and collaborators

Skills:

  • Program/Project Management

  • Ed Tech experience- Educational Technology experience working with high school students in using Hardware, Software and content to personalize learning experiences for both educators and students. Experience with Arduino platforms is a plus

  • Computer literacy

  • Instructional and Experiential Learning Design- identifying and integrating ed tech tools that support and enhance curriculum. Aligning curriculum to state standards.

  • Strong collaboration and communications skills

  • Strong writing skills for a variety of audiences including students, educators and other stakeholders

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Science/Computer Science or other relevant area plus 5 years work experience or Master’s Degree plus 3 years experience.

  • Certifications like ISTE, CETL is a plus

  • Previous experience in scaling content and curriculum to a large audiences is preferred

  • Previous experience working in a tech company is highly desirable

  • Experience working with various AI tools is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Government Affairs, Business, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Engineering, Legal, or related field.
• 2+ years of Government Affairs, Communications, Industry Associations, or related work experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies in-depth knowledge of government and related institutions (e.g., structure, practices, policies, laws, regulations) to support programs or initiatives.
• Identify and influence key stakeholders, policies, and regulations for programs or initiatives.
• Networks with colleagues within domain to gain insight, ideas, and connections.
• Communicates with individuals inside own team and with other internal teams to complete work for projects or programs.
• Leverages broad knowledge of Qualcomm products, technology, and strategic roadmap to represent Qualcomm's position on technology to external entities.
• Stays abreast of current trends to inform own work and work of the team.
• Researches and conducts moderately complex analyses on policies, regulations, laws, or other relevant issues and creates reports for others.
• Manages budget for a program or initiative. Executes spending according to budgetary guidelines.
• Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Adapts to significant changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
• Makes decisions as it pertains to one's own area of work. Provides feedback on decisions made outside own area.

Level of Responsibility:
• Works under some supervision.
• Responsible for own work. Decision-making is limited. Impact of decisions is readily apparent. Errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
• Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
• Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
• Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$92,800.00 - $139,200.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
