General Summary:
Job Overview
The Memory Validation team at Qualcomm is responsible for ensuring that second-source various memory devices meet defined acceptance criteria for stability, power, and performance. The team is seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of system-level test methodologies, capable of running validations on automated systems. This role offers exposure to SoC architecture, Memory software systems, and firmware.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up test environments, design test plans, and execute validation testing for DDR and storage devices (eMMC, UFS, SSD, Flash etc.).
- Debug and troubleshoot DDR-related issues (LPDDR4x, LPDDR5x) and storage-related issues from various vendors.
- Analyze and summarize test results, collaborating with internal memory, firmware, and driver teams to troubleshoot related DDR and storage issues and drive improvements.
- Assist in resolving RMA (Return Material Authorization) issues.
- Contribute to further improvement of validation processes and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Passed CET-4 or above.
- Solid understanding of digital logic design and analog circuit fundamentals.
- Experience with memory-related work, with knowledge of memory technologies.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DDR, storage, or SoC; familiarity with standards such as JEDEC, MIPI, PCIe is a plus.
- Experience in embedded platform hardware/software development or testing.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python.
- Experience with VLSI mixed-signal design and circuit/layout understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take initiative, think creatively, and work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
