General Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs in the development and delivery of cutting-edge robotics products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing hardware and software integration programs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end program execution for robotics products, from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with engineering, product management, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to define scope, manage dependencies, and resolve risks proactively.
- Planning & Execution: Develop detailed program plans, schedules, and resource allocations; track progress against milestones and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across technical, operational, and business domains.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders; manage expectations and drive decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices in program management, including Agile methodologies, to improve efficiency and predictability.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor program budgets and ensure optimal resource utilization.
This is an office based position that will need to adhere to the company's onsite work policy. The position is eligible to work out of either the company's San Diego or Santa Clara work locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 5–7 years of program management experience in robotics, hardware/software integration, or complex electromechanical systems.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Technical Acumen:
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and Linux-based platforms.
- Understanding of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and control algorithms
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in program management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$171,200.00 - $295,400.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
