General Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across multiple concurrent development projects, spanning diverse sites. This high-visibility role will draw on strong initiative, analytical expertise, and exceptional communication skills to support senior leadership and partner with finance and operations teams across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead resource planning for multiple projects across sites and Engineering orgs.

  • Deliver accurate forecasting of resource requirements, conduct gap analysis, and ensure actuals closely track forecasts.

  • Manage budgeting and variance analysis on financial forecasts (actual vs. budget).

  • Oversee the hiring effort for the organization, ensuring staffing needs are met with top talent and aligned with the budget.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft consistent reporting and messaging.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide decision support for key business initiatives and special projects.

  • Track and report KPIs, operational highlights, and plans to management on a regular basis.

  • Apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills to practical situations, ensuring sound judgment and effective collaboration.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail in tasks and activities, following defined processes with accuracy.

  • Identify process enhancement opportunities to streamline tracking, reporting, and operational workflows

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field.
OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the semiconductor domain (not mandatory).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$125,600.00 - $188,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
