General Summary:

As a Staff Engineer – Cybersecurity, you will play a critical role in shaping the security posture of advanced automotive platforms. You will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated cybersecurity strategies for complex automotive platforms used by major Automotive OEMs. You will be collaborating with customers to ensure delivery of Cybersecurity Work Products and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security architecture and compliance with global standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the product’s cybersecurity, own the delivery of all cybersecurity work-products, ensuring adherence to defined processes and acting as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity matters.
  • Serve as the customer’s representative for all cybersecurity topics related to the product.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure cybersecurity objectives are met through effective security architecture and implementation.
  • Support development of cybersecurity concepts (perform TARA), requirements, and risk analysis in alignment with ISO/SAE-21434.
  • Work closely with Program and Technology teams for planning, implementing and monitoring the product’s cybersecurity posture.
  • Participate in cybersecurity reviews, audits, and compliance activities for global standards (ISO/SAE-21434, GB 44495).
  • Drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualification : BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MS.

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in automotive or embedded systems with 3+ years in the field of automotive cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and automotive software architectures.
  • Familiarity with global automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE-21434, UNECE R155, GB 44495).
  • Proven track record in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for complex automotive systems.
  • Highly proficient in ISO/SAE-21434 implementation, CVE and CVSS.
  • Proven track record in collaboration with customers and stakeholders to ensure quality product delivery. Excellent communicator with strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple customer engagements to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Access control management, Secure boot, System isolation, ARM Trust Zone
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR, QNX, and Linux-based automotive platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with TARA tools (e.g. Ansys Medini).
  • Exposure to penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and its interaction with cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of vehicle network protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP) and their security implications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
