As a customs Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the daily bonded operation including release order verification and inspection. You will also be an operational escalation point for Broker and Logistics teams when daily import/export activities need assistance.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the following abilities:

Works under some supervision.
Collects information from daily operation to identify where an issue has occurred and makes recommendations for how to address the issue.
Understand Customs bonded regulation and requirements for their areas of responsibility.
Well manage the relationship with the internal/external stakeholders.
Good research and analysis skill.
Self-motivated and work with passion meanwhile good teamwork spirit.
Good communication skills, verbal and written in English.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle daily outbound release order verification and randomly inspect the physical cargo.
Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the registration and control of bonded handbooks and the submission of BOM.
Responsible for managing the outsourcing operation including raw materials transfers and receiving of semi-finished good.
Provide and maintain HS classification in bonded system upon new material control number (MCN) be created in system.
Oversight customs clearance service accuracy and quality and provide compliance guidance if needed.
Proactive support bonded operation to minimize risk that could disrupt outbound activity.
Assist in regular cycle count and annual inventory cycle count processes.
Support ad hoc customs/bonded projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Logistics/International Trade or equivalent by experience.
At least 3 years of relevant experiences in Taiwan bonded/import/export field.
Licensed with Customs bonded science park factory certified by Taiwan Customs authorities is a must.
Experience of bonded operation as well as import and export process.
Experience with Bonded system is preferred.
Oracle ERP knowledge is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ year of Customs, International Business, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
