Job Overview:
The Business Operations team for the MCX (Mobile, Compute and XR) Business Unit is responsible for managing the overall operations for the business unit including demand management, supply/demand, NPI, sustaining lifecycle management and reporting/analytics.
We are looking for a Product Support Specialist who will primarily be responsible for conducting comprehensive product level analysis and reporting to enable data centric business decisions. This role will be to support sustaining lifecycle management of products in cooperation with our team in San Diego. Accountable to conduct analysis pertaining to lifecycle operations, oversee and execute operational tasks associated with PCN’s (process/product change notifications), quality issues and other lifecycle transitions, as well as sample demand fulfillment.
Key Tasks to include:
- Sample demand management – perform operational duties to ensure customers’ requirements are met
- Product Change Notice (PCN) – Inventory depletion and demand transition maintenance. Continual analysis and follow up with regional teams to track customer acceptance. Take action to ensure successful PCN implementation
- Demand Migration – Continuously monitor and follow up on demand migration to appropriate SKU based on PCN’s or other product changes
- Inventory management – complete analysis of inventory to find opportunities to ship finished goods and reduce E&O, and develop recommendations to scrap inventory.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support product lifecycle management and demand management teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Technical, Marketing, or related field and 5+ years business operations or related experience.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Technical, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years business operations or related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 9+ years business operations or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Technical, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years experience with ERP, CRM (e.g., Sales Force), business analytics (e.g., Tableau), Microsoft suite, or related systems/applications.
- 2+ years experience in Semiconductor or related industry.
- 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years of work experience in analytics and reporting leveraging Excel or other analytics tools
- 2+ years of experience in demand/forecasting with knowledge of product lifecycle management
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
- Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
- Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
- Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
- Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
