General Summary:
The Qualcomm CE team is looking for a talented engineer to provide expert technical support to customers, assisting them in resolving a variety of issues encountered while using Qualcomm Adreno GPU tools. Proactively identify and understand customer needs to better meet their expectations. Work closely with our development team to ensure the efficient operation of the tools and deliver the best possible user experience.
Responsibilities
1. Provide customer technical support for Qualcomm Adreno GPU tools, including performance analysis, debugging, and optimization.
2. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues encountered by customers while using Adreno GPU tools.
3. Collect and analyze customer feedback to suggest improvements to the tools.
4. Develop technical documentation to aid customers in better understanding and utilizing Adreno GPU tools.
5. Participate in the testing and validation of the tools to ensure their stability and reliability.
6. Keep abreast of the latest developments in GPU technologies and tools to provide customers with up - to - date information and support.
7. Offer training to customers on the use of tools to help them master the methods and techniques for using the tools and enhance their work efficiency.
Skills and Experience Requirements
1. Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related field, or an outstanding bachelor's degree graduate.
2. Over 2 years of relevant work experience.
3. Excellent programming skills and experience in C/C++.
4. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
5. Self - motivation and the ability to learn quickly.
6. In - depth understanding of GPU hardware and graphics concepts.
7. Experience working on the Android platform, with the ability to skillfully use various performance analysis tools for problem - solving and optimization, and familiarity with common performance bottlenecks and optimization strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
1. Developing graphics applications using Vulkan, Directx, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL, or through graphics or game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot.
2. Developing GPU computing applications with OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL, etc.
3. Debugging, optimizing, profiling, and tuning real - time graphics and/or compute applications.
4. Familiarity with game engines, graphics frameworks, or general computing frameworks that leverage the GPU.
5. Knowledge of recent graphics trends, particularly ray tracing and emerging capabilities such as mesh shading and workgraphs.
6. Familiarity with graphics profilers and debuggers, such as Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc, Radeon Profilers, GfxReconstruct, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
