Required Skills
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience in testing, code coverage, and related activities for C/C++.
  • Exposure to AI Driven Development (e.g. Usage of GitHub CoPilot, Curser etc)
  • Experience with safety standard (ISO 26262 / IEC 61508) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Willingness to Ramp Up (on the job) on following skills
  • Leverage GenAI to perform automation tasks and develop tools using various front-end and back-end technologies such as Python, Node.js, Flask, and SQL.
  • Develop skills to create data visualization dashboards with tools like Power BI or similar.
  • Contribute to AI-driven solutions and organization-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and evaluate existing tools and software components for use in safety-critical automotive systems.
  • Perform Tool Safety Qualification and Component Qualification as per requirements of Safety Standard
  • Develop qualification plans, perform gap analysis, and document compliance evidence.
  • Generate and maintain safety work products required for audits and assessments.
  • Develop tools for supporting/enabling safety compliance and automation
  • Perform various automations (using GenAI) by understanding new or existing problems and provide reliable, scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on understanding various automation needs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
