General Summary:

As a Manager or Sr. Manager in Commercial Strategy and Business Operation, you will play a critical role in supporting the Global commercial team and sales operation. This position focuses on helping regions to develop GTM commercial strategy, driving alignment with business units, data consolidation, analysis and creating impactful executive-level presentation materials for Global Commercial Operations organization and leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial strategies are executed seamlessly and support overall Global Commercial Operations team operation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 8+ years of business operations or related experience.
OR
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 10+ years of business operations or related experience.

Job Description

As a Manager or Sr. Manager in Commercial Strategy and Business Operation, you will play a critical role in supporting the Global commercial team and sales operation. This position focuses on helping regions to develop GTM commercial strategy, driving alignment with business units, data consolidation, analysis and creating impactful executive-level presentation materials for Global Commercial Operations organization and leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial strategies are executed seamlessly and support overall Global Commercial Operations team operation.

**Must be in the office in San Diego, 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy Development

  • Partner with regional teams to refine Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies on new initiatives and aligned with global objectives.
  • Ensure strategies incorporate market insights, competitive analysis, and business unit priorities.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Drive collaboration between Global Commercial Operations, regional sales teams, and business units to ensure seamless execution of key commercial initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison to resolve strategic and operational gaps across functions.

Global Data Consolidation and Analysis

  • Aggregate and validate global data from multiple sources to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of commercial performance metrics, identifying trends and actionable insights.

Executive-Level Presentation Development

  • Create impactful, visually compelling presentations for senior leadership that communicate strategic recommendations, performance updates, and operational plans.
  • Ensure clarity and alignment of messaging for global audiences.

Operational Support for Global Commercial Organization

  • Assist in planning and executing organizational initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
  • AI use cases development and adoption for Global Commercial Operation org.
  • Monitor progress of strategic projects and provide timely updates to leadership.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs for commercial strategies and sales operations.
  • Provide regular performance reviews and recommendations for improvement.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy across commercial operations.
  • Implement best practices for GTM planning and execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Communicate effectively across global teams to maintain transparency and accountability.

Ideal candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, or Consulting Experiences in Semiconductor industry.
    OR
  • Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
    OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of relevant experience.
    Advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and strategic communications.
  • Strong understanding of global sales operations and regional market dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$147,600.00 - $221,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
