General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a Product Manager for an entry level position in Compute Product’s performance and competitive analysis team. In this role, you will direct a comprehensive next generation product evaluation based on industry leading benchmarks performance and identify relevant competitive products. Develop strategies to enhance competitive positioning of Snapdragon Compute products. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Conducts complex analyses to assess marketability of Snapdragon Compute product’s performance based on market, customer, technology, and other ecosystem demands
- Translate complex and comprehensive performance and power data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for product planning and competitive positioning
- Prepares and delivers highly complex technical presentations for new and existing products that explain and demonstrate capabilities of Snapdragon Compute Products
- Oversees the design and evaluation of all phases of Compute Products, including Pre-Sil and Post-Sil performance
- Creates a business case for the development of a new benchmarks and product features in an established product area (Performance, Battery Life, User Experience).
- Maintains expertise by staying up to date on the competitive landscape, including competitor strategies, emerging technological advancements to anticipate performance of competitive products
- Serves as a Performance lead resource, coordinating several engineering teams across various processing units (CPU, GPU, NPU) and Chipset Product Management and Marketing teams, as the products progresses through their life cycle.
- Ensures successful cross-functional collaboration by ensuring that agreed upon KPIs and specifications are met for product(s), upon delivery by engineering team
- Support Product launches and demonstrate new products and key highlights and features
- Contributes to strategic planning to enable industry leading benchmarks and promote adoption of industry trends in benchmarking.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information systems or related field
- Deep knowledge in Software Architecture, various software stacks associated with Windows PCs
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 2+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$133,100.00 - $199,700.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
