The Automotive business within Qualcomm is a fast-growing segment encompassing a wide range of products sold into both automotive factory-fit and aftermarket applications. As wireless technologies continue to evolve, e.g., 4G / 5G / V2X, the devices (ECUs) and applications built on top of these technologies are increasing in number, complexity, and overall importance to the driving experience. This position will be responsible for: Working closely with Software, Systems, and Firmware engineers to understand system-level functionality. Plan, Design and Execute on System level Test cases including Linux user space components, Middleware and Software Development Kit (SDK). Report and document problems found during testing, assist with the collection of data needed for analysis, and drive the resolution to these problems. Create test reports, present results, and be able to evaluate the quality of the software/product being tested. Propose, implement, and assist in the automation of test cases to minimize manual testing, improve test coverage, and ensure the quality of our Telematics software.
Job Description
A successful candidate for this position would have experience in analyzing new features and creating test plans. Experience in Scripting Language for Test case execution.
Experience in Embedded testing with C++ and python programming experience
Know-how of software life cycle and role/phases of test – Test planning, Test development and Test execution
Comfortable in handling Embedded devices
Willing to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience on Linux embedded Systems\Platform.
Experience with white box and black box testing. Experience with test tools, strategies, and automation knowledge.
Good to have: Know-how of gRPC, Jenkins.
Good to have: Knowledge of Telematics eco-system and Qualcomm chipsets, software development environment.
Good to have: Experience in audio and security testing.
*4-5+ years Software Engineering and testing or related work experience.
*4-5 years’ experience with Programming Language mainly such as C, C++, Java, Python
*3-5 years Embedded Linux System\Software Testing or related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
