General Summary:
Job function and Work scope
To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team for Automotive display support
- display interface support, such as MIPI DSI/DP/eDP/HDMI.
- Porting display driver according customer specific request/design and in charge of End to End support.
- Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers.
- Provide training to customer and communicate with internal for feature design details.
- Partner with external customers to understand the requirements and assist customers to define proper product spec and plans.
Required qualifications
- Experience with display interface standards such as DSI/eDP/DP/HDMI.
- Professional knowledge of the Android/Linux kernel with respect to DRM/KMS drivers
- Professional in display performance debugging on multi panels.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Android/LXC OS, multi-threads, etc.
- Good knowledge of specific Display architecture like SDM, DRM, Weston.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability with sufficient tools (e.g. GDB, JTAG-Debugger, ADB…).
- Experience with Surfaceflinger/HWC and understanding of the Android Display architecture and display native services and framework, multi-display support, Multi DRM cards.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience with Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a big plus.
- Good knowledge of hypervisor OS and OpenWF Display is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
