General Summary:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radio Compliance Engineer / Wireless Regulatory Product Manager to lead wireless product certification activities and ensure conformance with global regulatory requirements. In this role, you will work closely with accredited third‑party compliance laboratories, oversee certification schedules and deliverables, and maintain technical documentation for Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and WWAN (3G, 4G, 5G) technologies. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, program, and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Certification & Program Management

- Develop and execute regulatory test plan to ensure products comply with international standards and meet customer requirements.

- Create and maintain regulatory project plans, budgets, and schedules for global conformance programs that meet customer expectations.

- Prepare technical documentations for certification bodies and manage end‑to‑end radio product certification activities through third‑party compliance labs, including quoting, scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.

- Provide regular status reporting to product and engineering leadership, highlighting risks, challenges, and mitigation paths.

Technical Compliance Analysis

- Analyze Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and WWAN compliance assessment reports for technical accuracy and adherence to regional regulatory standards.

- Review transmitter test reports to determine maximum transmit power compliance and verify alignment with global radio regulations.

- Interpret and evaluate key performance parameters, including spurious emissions, modulation --characteristics, power spectral density, and receiver blocking.

- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth regulation and spectrum research and technical requirements analysis.

- Troubleshoot and debug compliance test failures to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Documentation & Internal Support

- Maintain Technical Construction Files and associated regulatory documentation in accordance with Qualcomm internal procedures.

- Respond to technical and regulatory inquiries from Engineering, Marketing, and Sales regarding new and evolving global requirements affecting wireless products.

Customer & Cross‑Functional Interaction

- Collaborate with customers across Taiwan, Japan, and the United States to align on certification needs, schedules, and deliverables.

- Coordinate seamlessly with internal RF engineering, program management, and product teams to support regulatory readiness.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in radio regulatory compliance, EMC testing, or wireless certification.

- Strong knowledge of Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and WWAN (3G, 4G, 5G) communications technologies.

- Familiarity with Qualcomm radio technologies and test tools.

- Ability to interpret global radio compliance reports covering transmitter and receiver performance metrics.

Preferred Skills

- Excellent organizational and communication abilities to manage multiple concurrent compliance programs and deadlines.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in regulatory and technical assessments.

- Experience working with international regulatory bodies, standards organizations, and global certification frameworks.
