General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a high-energy, proactive Account Manager to support and grow its strategic partnership with Samsung Mobile. Based in Korea, this role will work closely with senior account leaders and cross-functional teams to drive day-to-day account execution, identify growth opportunities, and ensure best-in-class sales quality across Samsung’s mobile portfolio. This position is ideal for a self-driven professional with 5+ years of experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes strong ownership, and is eager to build deep expertise in the mobile semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Execution
- Support end-to-end management of the Samsung Mobile account, ensuring flawless execution across commercial, operational, and technical engagements.
- Drive day-to-day customer interactions, follow-ups, and issue resolution with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Coordinate internal alignment across sales, engineering, product management, supply chain, legal, and finance teams.
- Proactive Opportunity Identification
- Actively identify new business opportunities, design-win possibilities, and expansion areas within Samsung’s mobile portfolio.
- Track Samsung’s product plans, platform decisions, and timelines, and proactively surface risks and opportunities.
- Prepare customer-ready proposals, presentations, and business cases with clarity and impact.
- Relationship Building
- Build strong working relationships with Samsung counterparts across procurement, technology strategy, engineering, product planning and quality.
- Establish credibility through responsiveness, consistency, and deep understanding of customer needs.
- Serve as a reliable day-to-day interface between Qualcomm and Samsung.
- Market & Competitive Insight
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and ecosystem dynamics relevant to Samsung Mobile.
- Translate market and customer insights into actionable internal feedback.
- Support competitive positioning and account strategy with fact-based analysis.
- Semiconductor Sales Quality & Analytics
- Maintain high standards of semiconductor sales discipline, including accurate forecasting, demand tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Analyze pricing, volumes, BOM implications, and revenue impact to support informed decisions.
- Ensure sales activities align with Qualcomm’s long-term platform and profitability goals.
