General Summary:

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to strengthen our engineering quality capability within automotive software and systems development.
In this role, you will provide an independent view on process adherence, work product quality, and customer quality requirements, while actively supporting teams in continuous improvement and problem solving.

You will work closely with development teams, project management, and customers, acting as the quality representative for assigned programs, projects, or features.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will:

  • Be a team player coaching our teams to improve our Quality Culture. You will also be responsible for the quality assurance activities within our development projects and be in direct contact with different stakeholders; customers, project- and product managers, line managers, etc.

  • Be collaborating with the stakeholders and development teams on quality issues, planning and conducting project audits and reviewing project results. You will ensure that any deviations are reported, corrected and that the measures are verified. You will also be a key contributor to suggesting improvements to our ways of working, processes and maintenance of processes. Your drive will be “How to build in quality in our processes, instead of adding them later on, in a process on its own.”

  • Be part of the global Quality team, with colleagues around the world. You will work in close collaboration with the global development teams located in Sweden, Romania, Germany, USA and India.

To succeed in this position, we think that you have:

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in software, electronics or quality

  • Relevant work experience

  • Experience in Systems development, Project Management or Verification management

  • Experience of working with quality standards

  • Experience of working Agile

  • Ability to lead and join technical discussions to meet the customer’s expectations

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective working relationships

  • Excellent English in writing and speech

If you also have one or more of the following, it will be considered a merit:

  • Experience of audits within systems and processes (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety ISO 26262, cybersecurity ISO21434 and SOTIF ISO 21448)

  • Knowledge of quality tools used in Automotive

  • Experience from the automotive domain

  • Experience of working in scaled agile systems, such as SAFE/LeSS
