General Summary:
Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle. Formulates and executes long-term roadmaps for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for wearable devices, informed by market research, competitive analysis, and emerging trends.
- Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, customer engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Drive technical discussions and decisions regarding technology choices, SW architecture flows etc. with Engineering teams to make sure it is optimal for the overall product success.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from diverse stakeholders, balancing technical and user-centric perspectives.
- Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation through launch, including defining requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback post-launch, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance features and optimize user experiences.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align resources and meet milestones, ensuring customer expectations and deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in wearable technology and evaluate new features and technologies to enhance the product portfolio.
- Drive effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, challenges, and successes.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs throughout the product lifecycle to achieve strategic objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- 5+ years of Experience with Consumer SW product development and delivery
- Proven work experience in technical areas like CPU, GPU, AI, Memory, Connectivity & Peripherals
- Proven experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex software products for wearable technology.
- Experience in defining and driving roadmap strategies and managing feature delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$162,400.00 - $243,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
