General Summary:
Responsibilities
We’re looking for skilled staff or senior engineer to develop audio virtualization drivers on snapdragon SoC based automative products. You will be responsible for new audio feature design, audio virtualization technology investigation and development. You will also be responsible for complex audio issue debugging and resolving across various platforms.
Requirements
- Experienced in ALSA driver and ASOC driver development
- Experienced in virtualization architecture development
- Familiar with Linux kernel and userspace development and debugging
- Familiar with yocto build system is a plus
- Familiar with android framework is a plus
- Familiar with git/gerrit tools is a plus
- Familiar with ASPICE is a plus
- MS in CS/EE with 3+ years’ experience (or BS with 5+ years) in audio software development
- Proficient C, C++ programming
- Excellent software design, problem solving, debugging, documentation and presentation skills and proved experience.
- Well organized, great communication and reporting skills
- English communication capability able to work with colleagues around the world smoothly.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
