Responsibilities
- Build libraries that enable developers to build, run and maintain models on SN Hardware via adapting existing open source frameworks or building on top of them
- Deliver cutting edge LLM, Speech and multimodal technologies to production while partnering with multiple stakeholders across product, compiler, platform and ML Research teams
- Build and maintain well understood training and inference LLM methods for productization
- Build and maintain application code used to run evaluations on various benchmarks
- Improve developer productivity by driving process improvements via automation or other techniques
- Build and maintain data processing utilities for LLM training
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Intelligence, Engineering Science, or Math
- 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software development in Python and C/C++
- Knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with and passion for any of the following -- machine learning, compilers, parallel programming, high-performance and massively parallel systems, processor and computer architecture
- Fleshed out GitHub repo a plus
Annual Salary Range and Level
The base salary for this position ranges from $180,000/year up to $210,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
