Description
Selector is seeking a Technical Program Manager to help execute complex projects that span engineering team, solutions engineering team, and customer delivery team. The role involves leading cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions to customers. You will build and maintain processes augmented with clear executive communication and execution metrics. We are looking for a detail-oriented personality with a technical background who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- This role has a hybrid approach to working in the office.
- Managing technical programs and projects: The TPM will be responsible for defining and managing technical programs and projects related to SaaS products, including creating project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Ensuring customer delivery: The TPM will work closely with customer success teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of software solutions to customers. This includes identifying and mitigating risks, managing customer expectations, and resolving issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Expertise in Jira: The TPM will be expected to have expertise in using Jira, a popular project management tool, to manage and track software development projects. This includes creating and managing Jira boards, dashboards, and reports to track project progress and identify issues.
- Analytics experience: The TPM will have experience in using data analytics to drive insights and decision-making.
- Collaboration and communication: The TPM will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are critical to the success of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management in a SaaS environment
- Strong experience using Jira to manage and track software development projects
- Experience working closely with customer success teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions to customers
- Strong data analytics skills, experience using tools to create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience managing projects in a remote work environment
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including AWS or Azure
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs on time and on budget
Compensation
- The salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, and may vary from the amount listed.
