The Opportunity
We are always on the look out for standout Solutions Architects who are masterminds at juggling both the technical and commercial consultative conversations. This role sits in our Professional Services team, reporting into the Head of Professional Services. It is absolutely essential that our Solutions Architects are curious about our customers and the problems they are trying to solve.
At Snowplow we see activating our customers as one of the most important functions of our business in terms of retaining and delighting customers. We aim to deeply understand the business and data outcomes that our customers want to see and design implementations of our product around this.
Our Solutions Architecture team works directly with customer data teams to train them on the Snowplow product, co-design and develop bespoke solutions, implement use cases and quantify business value.
What you'll be doing
● Working on new customer onboarding to map their business needs and design Snowplow centred solutions tailored to the problems they are trying to solve as a business.
● Educating, retaining and growing our customers through delivering tailored workshops.
● Advice on the best tracking implementation strategies and guide customers through the implementation process.
● Develop collaboratively with our Solution Architects the technical artefacts that support organisational success of Snowplow (data product design specs, tracking strategies etc)
● Create customer-facing documentation and suggest process improvements for the role.
● Develop domain expertise in our key verticals through deep customer collaborations, general research, attending industry events/conferences.
● Identify product feedback from customers, spotting trends and surfacing to help shape product roadmap and influence how our tech evolves.
● Be fluent in the technology and able to train newer team members.
● Develop your personal brand by helping with marketing events and webinars.
What you bring to the team
● You understand people. Deeply emotionally intelligent, you can quickly read a room of stakeholders and adopt your delivery style and content quickly, showing them what conceptual ideas look like in reality.
● Creative Problem Solver. Previous experience with a complex software product, ideally designing solutions and gathering requirements, you are comfortable communicating with senior technical stakeholders (CTO, VP Eng, Tech Leads).

● Experience with Javascript in a frontend environment, preferably with Snowplow or other JS trackers, or experience with setting up tracking through Google Tag Manager
● Previous experience of using Snowplow, whether Snowplow BDP or open source.
● Previous experience with behavioural data and a basic understanding of SQL.
