The OpportunitySnowplow is looking for a high energy and dynamic Market Development Representative to work to develop our inbound leads and marketing campaign responses with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers and helping to turn them into great sales opportunities.
The Market Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through inbound calling activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.
You will work tightly with our Sales and Marketing teams to develop and refine your ability to send effective emails, make effective calls, identify and qualify real opportunities in a B2B tech sales environment.
This is a great stepping stone opportunity for those looking to kick-start a commercial career at a startup and many of our most successful Account Executives and leaders have spent time in Sales/Marketing Development careers.
- Experience in a sales role (preferably within a data analytics/SaaS environment)

- Managing inbound sales queries in Salesforce and Pardot
- Qualifying inbound leads via email/video call/mobile to assess how/if our product could add real value to their business
- Working with the marketing team to drive campaigns to deliver inbound leads
- Driving attendance to events from prospects who have previously engaged with Snowplow
- Handing over qualified business opportunities to an Account Executive
- Gaining deep knowledge of our product offering with a view to being able to take over some demo calls
- Achieving (and hopefully exceeding) monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Effectively managing your workload & prioritising tasks
