Striim is looking for a DevOps Engineer to contribute to our cloud-native SaaS platform. Striim’s engineering team works with a modern, cutting-edge technology stack that includes microservices, Kubernetes, Golang, and multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS). The team builds scalable, high-performance solutions, delivering immediate value to customers.

This role is well-suited for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments and are eager to push the boundaries of cloud technology. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about building impactful solutions and eager to join a team that is redefining how enterprises leverage real-time data streaming.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, deploy, and monitor software to ensure the system’s capacity and performance adhere to our Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Contribute to a secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Collaborate with the team on architecture and technical discussions.
  • Provide on-call support and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment to support continuous delivery.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in Programming, System Operations, and/or DevOps.
  • Programming experience or foundational knowledge of Go and/or Python.
  • Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
  • Hands-on knowledge one or more cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Cloud networking knowledge: VPC, NATs, and routers.
  • Experience with Shell scripting.
  • Experience supporting high-performance distributed systems, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of database systems, including internal infrastructure, transaction processing, and real-time event-driven processing, preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work flexible hours for on-call rotations.
  • Must be eligible to work on-site on a hybrid schedule.
  • Exceptional communication ability: written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study, or relevant work experience.
