As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing automation and email marketing efforts of the company. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of marketing automation campaigns and systems. This position requires a solid understanding of marketing principles, excellent analytical skills, creative problem solving, and proficiency in marketing automation tools and platforms. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations and Strategy, you will work closely with marketing leaders and the greater marketing team to execute automated marketing campaigns and drive lead generation and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in marketing automation, with proficiency in Marketo and/or HubSpot, and a strong understanding of email marketing and nurture strategies. Experience with facilitating marketing automation platform integrations is a definite plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, maintain, and optimize marketing automation campaigns. Configure workflows, email templates, landing pages, and lead scoring models, ensuring seamless campaign execution. Ensure timely delivery of campaigns and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  2. Leverage your proficiency in email marketing to create and optimize email programs and database-wide nurture programs. Work with the marketing team to develop effective email templates, subject lines, and content that resonate with target audiences. Conduct A/B tests to improve email performance and deliverability.
  3. Collaborate with our BizOPS team to integrate marketing automation platforms with CRM systems, such as Salesforce. Work cross-functionally to ensure a seamless flow of data between platforms, enabling effective lead management, tracking, and reporting.
  4. Manage and maintain the marketing automation database, perform data segmentation, and implement data cleansing measures. Analyze campaign performance data, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics. Provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns based on data-driven recommendations.
  5. Generate comprehensive reports on campaign performance and present key findings to stakeholders. Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to enhance results and meet marketing goals.
  6. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing automation. Stay informed about the latest updates and features of key marketing automation solutions. Share knowledge and insights with the team to drive innovation and maximize marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in marketing automation, preferably with expertise in Marketo and HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, including email design, content optimization, and deliverability best practices.
  • Experience with integrating marketing automation platforms with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in utilizing marketing automation tools, including Marketo and HubSpot, to execute campaigns and workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from campaign performance data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry changes.
Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate’s location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.
